September 1st - El Prado Gallery - Character Matters - through September 7

El Prado examines the art of the portraiture and its ability to represent more than just the actual physical appearance of its subject. Aspects such as character, social position, heritage, personality are depicted in portraiture and the viewer processes many of these subliminally. The show features the work of Robert Tanenbaum, Linda Demetre, Sally Kimp, Terry Slonaker, Scott Prior and Keith Lindberg.

The week includes the First Friday reception, September 3 from 5 – 8 p.m.
