Cultural Gathering Honoring The Red Rocks in Yavapai
Traditional Bird Singers from across Arizona and a fluent Yavapai-speaking Elder gather in the courtyards of Tlaquepaque for one day honoring the Red Rocks of Sedona in the Yavapai language and tradition — a gathering celebrating Yavapai heritage and shared Yuman cultural connections, the first of its kind in Sedona. Not a series of performances but one continuous experience: songs, dances, storytelling, and open conversation with the singers and Elder about what you are hearing.
