Dulce: Ice Cream, Churros, Candies
There’s a certain joy that comes with stepping into a candy shop—the kind that instantly sparks curiosity and brings out a sense of play. At Dulce: Ice Cream, Churros, Candies, newly opened at Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, that feeling is very much by design. Bright, colorful, and filled with irresistible aromas, Dulce invites guests to slow down, smile, and indulge—making life sweeter, one Dulce at a time.
Dulce is the creation of founder Liz Moler, who previously served as Events Manager at Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, overseeing weddings and special events. After years of helping others celebrate life’s meaningful moments, Liz felt drawn to create something of her own—an inviting place centered on delight, connection, and everyday joy, rooted in simple pleasures and shared experiences that feel approachable and personal.
That vision came to life in Dulce. From the start, Liz was intentional about offering treats not commonly found in Sedona. Dulce’s carefully curated selection blends familiar favorites with unexpected discoveries sourced from around the world—candies chosen for their quality, character, and ability to surprise, often prompting a joyful “wow.”
“I want everyone to feel like a kid in a candy store the moment they walk in.”
Shelves are arranged like a sweet marketplace, with small-batch chocolates, playful nostalgic picks, and hard-to-find international favorites displayed side by side. With offerings that change throughout the year, Dulce has also become a thoughtful stop for special occasions—an easy place to discover something memorable for holidays like Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or other moments marked by giving.
At the heart of the shop is a personal signature item: the Dulce Mexican Chocolate bar, inspired by the flavors of Liz’s grandmother’s hot chocolate and developed locally in partnership with Gayles Chocolates in the Verde Valley. Dulce also serves scooped ice cream and freshly made churros, adding warmth and indulgence to the experience.

From the upbeat music and colorful décor to the sweet scent of sugar in the air, Dulce is designed as a full sensory experience. It’s a place to treat yourself, welcome visiting friends, share something sweet, linger awhile, and create simple memories together here, often, or just pause for a small moment of happiness—one scoop, one churro, one Dulce at a time.
